The international fellowship program spans a duration of three months, taking place in Washington, D.C. from March 1 to May 31, 2024. There is no application fee associated with this program. Selection of candidates will be based on their previous work and demonstrated interest in collaborating with others to advance democracy. The final selection will be made by the regional program staff of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), World Movement Secretariat staff, and the Hurford Youth Fellowship Alumni Network.

The Hurford Youth Leadership Program is a fully-funded leadership program located in the United States. All expenses for selected participants will be covered by the organization. Each fellow will receive a monthly stipend to cover living expenses, basic health insurance, and roundtrip travel to and from Washington, D.C. Fellows will have their own office space with internet and email access. The program will also provide a stipend for long-distance phone calls.
