This training camp aims to teach ethical values and fundamental principles of journalism to young individuals from the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) Member States, empowering them to become successful journalists and media professionals. The camp will focus on digital storytelling, news reporting using everyday tools, mobile journalism, storytelling, field production, and journalism basics.

Media Camp Dates:
- The training program for young men will be held from 18 – 23 October. In contrast, the training program for young women will occur from 25 – 30 October.
Selection Announcement:
- The selection results will be announced on August 16, 2023.
Benefits of ICYF International Media Training Camp:
- Local transportation from the airport or bus station to the camp area and vice versa will be covered.
- Travel insurance will also be provided to the selected candidates.
- ICYF will cover domestic transportation expenses for participants residing in Turkey up to 2000 liras.
- Expenses related to accommodation, food, and city tour will also be covered.
- Participants will be provided with a participation confirmation letter for visa application purposes.
- Full-attended participants will get a certificate issued by ICYF and TRT – J4J.
Note:
- The Host Organizers will not cover international transportation expenses.
- Participants are responsible for covering their visa costs.
Eligibility Criteria for ICYF International Media Training Camp:
- Age Requirement:
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 to 25.
- Language Requirement:
Candidates must have a strong command of the English language.
- Nationality Requirement:
Candidates must be either from the 56 OIC Member States, Muslim youth from OIC Member States, or Muslim minorities from non-OIC Member States.
